Floodborn is a Character Classification. Floodborn Characters are Glimmers either Storyborn or Dreamborn that came in contact with The Flood and were transformed. While being Floodborn can transform a character in unpredictable ways, it can also enhance one of their particular qualities or talents.

Floodborn is the only Classification with an altered card design, the banner showing the classifications is a black ink splat, instead of having a similar color to the Ink. This is not the case if the card is enchanted. This doesn't affect gameplay in any way. Currently, all Floodborn characters have the Shift Keyword in their Ability, trait that no other keyword shares.
