In the storyline, Illusion Glimmers are Glimmers conjured from the sand of Archazia's terraformed island. Controlled by Jafar, they are created to protect the Hexwell Crown and have no autonomy of their own.[1] Illusion Glimmers are nearly identical to their source counterparts, with the exception of subtle details such as their skin having a strong glitter from the sand's highlights[2] or the sand falling from the edge of their bodies. Furthermore, they cannot accurately portray their respective Glimmer's mannerisms. For example, a Sultan Illusion was noted to share Jafar's malicious speech patterns and cadence, despite having the same voice as the real Sultan's.[3]
Whenever this character quests, you may draw a card, then choose and discard a card. If an Illusion character card is discarded this way, you may play that character for free.
