Other Information
First Set The First Chapter

The Collector Number is a code located on the lower-left corner of every Card. It indicates the what number the card has within the Set, the Set number it belongs to and the language of the card. Cards awere numbered by Ink color, in the order of Amber, Amethyst, Emerald, Ruby, Sapphire, and Steel. Within each ink color, cards are ordered by Card Type, in the order of Character, Action, Item, and Location. Up unitl Ursula's Return, within each Card Type, cards were numbered alphabetically by English-language name (regardless of which language the card is printed in). This changed going forward to an order that is not clearly defined but helps the game creators change the names of cards easily without compromising the order.

The exception to this are Enchanted cards, which are numbered after all other cards, having a Collector Number higher than the maximum. Within enchanted cards themselves, the numbering follows the standard ordering as described.
