Rarity is the probability of a card of appearing in a Booster Pack. An icon at the bottom to indicate the rarity of the card. There are 6 different rarities[1] and 1 special rarity for Promo cards.
Steve Warner shared that "Complexity or showing aspects of a card that are maybe a little more different than what they would normally be are factors that help determine rarity."[2]

The exception is cards obtained from the D23 Expo 2022 Collector's Set and the D23 Expo 2022 promotional card. These cards instead have a D23 Expo Mark and 1st Edition marks on the card. See also Mark.
