Marks are found at the bottom of the cards in the D23 Expo 2022 Collector's Set and the D23 Expo 2022 promotional card, in place of rarity. They are marked as being from the D23 Expo with the D23 Expo Mark.
These cards also have the 1st Edition Mark. Originally, it was planned to have 1st Edition cards in Disney Lorcana, but these plans were cancelled prior to the release of the game, making the D23 Expo 2022 cards the only cards to have this mark.
All cards from the D23 Expo 2022 will be printed in The First Chapter, with proper rarity icons instead of marks.[1]
Promotional cards from other events such as the Gamescom 2023 promotional card and the Gen Con 2023 promotional card will also include Marks of those specific events. The Lorcana Team has announced that they are "committed to never doing mechanically unique promo cards"[2] meaning that all promotional cards will also be available in other products.
