A Keyword is a word that represents an Ability. Reminder text is often provided to Keywords to help summarize the effects. Keywords are shown in bold on the ability text of the card. Reminder text is shown in italics, and inside of parentheses.
Only certain Keywords occur naturally in characters of certain ink colors. This helps to synergize deck building and allows for more powerful combinations not present within a single ink. Other than Shift, which is present in all Inks, most are exclusive to a couple. Some items, actions and locations grant Keyword abilities temporarily to a characters from other inks.
