To Draw a card, a player adds the top card of their Deck to their Hand.
Cards can be drawn in one of two ways.
- For the turn player's Draw Step during the Beginning Phase. On the first turn of the game, the first player skips this step and does not Draw.
- Due to a card Ability that specifically uses this term.
It is possible to draw multiple cards at once. For example, "Friends on the Other Side" allows the player to draw 2 cards at once.
If a player is unable to draw because they do not have enough cards left in their Deck, that player loses the game.
