The GAMA Expo 2023 Demo Decks were the decks available to the general public to try playing Disney Lorcana for the first time at GAMA Expo 2023 event held on April 24–27, 2023.
2 different demo decks were loaned to participants, consisting of an Amber / Amethyst deck and a Sapphire / Steel deck. According to Lorcana co-designers Ryan Miller and Steve Warner, the decks are modified versions of The First Chapter Starter Decks where they were reduced to 40 cards each and had the word "DEMO" printed on the back of the cards.
In order to keep the line moving and make games shorter, a player would win the game with only 10 lore, rather than needing to earn 20 lore.
