Teeth and Ambitions Rulings
You may play Teeth and Ambitions even if you have no characters in play. However the first and required part of Teeth and Ambitions's ability requires you to deal 2 damage to one of your own characters. If you have no characters in play to deal 2 damage to, you may not deal damage to an opponent's character and Teeth and Ambitions will resolve without effect.[1]
- You may choose your Cinderella - Stouthearted which has Resist +2 for Teeth and Ambitions's abililty. In this case, Cinderella will not take any damage due to Resist +2 and you can still deal 2 damage to an opposing character.[1]
- If you control a Beast - Selfless Protector and a The Prince - Never Gives Up which has Resist +1 in play and you play Teeth and Ambitions, choosing your own The Prince and an opponent's character, only 1 damage will be placed on The Beast through his SHIELD ANOTHER ability, while 2 damage will be placed on the opponent's character.[1]
