Mufasa - Betrayed Leader Rulings
- If you have a Stitch - Rock Star on the field while your Mufasa - Betrayed Leader was banished during the opponent's turn and his THE SUN WILL SET ability was triggered, if a 2 cost or lower character was revealed, that character must enter play exerted, and you will therefore be unable to exert that character for Stitch's ADORING FANS ability.[1]
- However, if that 2 cost or lower character is LeFou - Instigator, you may first choose to use his FAN THE FLAMES ability to ready himself, before you use Stitch's ability to exert LeFou and draw a card.[1]
If a non-character card was revealed by Mufasa's THE SUN WILL SET ability, that card will be returned to the top of the deck face down. All cards in the deck are face down at all times unless otherwise specified.[1]
Even if there are multiple abilities triggering, they are still considered to be part of the challenge as effects resolve.[2]
- If your Marshmallow - Persistent Guardian challenges Mufasa - Betrayed Leader and Mufasa reveals Maleficent - Monstrous Dragon, the opponent's Maleficent may choose to banish Marshmallow with her Dragon Fire ability. After that since the game state is considered to still be in the challenge, as there was no point where there weren't any effects resolving, Marshmallow will be considered to have been banished while in the challenge and you may choose to return it to hand.[2]
