Cogsworth - Talking Clock Rulings
If you have a Character with Reckless while Cogsworth - Talking Clock on the board, that Character would be able to Exert to gain 1 Lore through Cogsworth's WAIT A MINUTE ability. Since they are not Ready, they would therefore be unable to Challenge.[1]
Even if there are multiple copies of Cogsworth - Talking Clock on the board, the ability would still be "
- Gain 1 Lore", and the Character with Reckless would still be only able to gain 1 Lore when exerting.[2]
- If you control a character with Support like Basil - Of Baker Street was affected by The Beast is Mine! and currently has Reckless, while you have a Cogsworth - Talking Clock, and you exert Basil to gain 1 lore, Cogsworth - Talking Clock's WAIT A MINUTE ability does not count as questing so you cannot use Support in this instance.[3]
