Kida - Protector of Atlantis

Kida - Protector of Atlantis is also affected by her own PERHAPS WE CAN SAVE OUR FUTURE ability.[1]

Kida - Protector of Atlantis's PERHAPS WE CAN SAVE OUR FUTURE ability only affects current that were in play when Kida was played. If a character is played after Kida, that character would not be affected by her ability and does not get their strength reduced.[2]

If a Character's Strength would be reduced to 0 or below 0, the Character is treated as having 0 Strength. If an ability or effect is applied later to add Strength to that Character, all modifiers to the Character's Strength is applied at the same time to calculate it's final total Strength. (If the new total Strength is still at 0 or below 0, the Character is still treated as having 0 Strength.)[3]

  • For example, if you have a character with 2 Strength, then the opponent plays Kida - Protector of Atlantis, reducing your character's strength by 3 from her PERHAPS WE CAN SAVE OUR FUTURE ability. Even if you play Improvise during your next turn to increase that character by 1 Strength, that character would still only have a final resulting amount of 0 Strength.[4]
