Evasive Rulings
- If Lilo - Making a Wish and Simba - Protective Cub are both exerted on the opponent's field and you use Tinker Bell - Most Helpful to give Simba Evasive, Simba can no longer be challenged by a Character that does not have Evasive and Lilo may now be challenged by another Character you have in play that does not have Evasive.[1]
Even if a Character with Evasive is involved in a Challenge with a Character that does not have Evasive, both Characters will still do damage to each other equal to their Strength for that Challenge.[2]
If a character gains a keyword from a temporary ability, then loses the keyword due to a character's ability, they would not regain the ability even if that character leaves play. However, if a character gained the keyword from a static ability, then loses the keyword due to a character's ability, they would regain the ability once that character leaves play.[3]
- If Peter Pan - Fearless Fighter which does not have evasive gained evasive from You Can Fly!, then Captain Hook - Master Swordsman is played which makes Peter Pan - Fearless Fighter lose evasive from Captain Hook's MAN-TO-MAN ability, Peter Pan would not regain evasive even if Captain Hook leaves play.[3]
- If Peter Pan - Fearless Fighter which does not have evasive gained evasive from Fang - River City, then Captain Hook - Master Swordsman is played which makes Peter Pan - Fearless Fighter lose evasive from Captain Hook's MAN-TO-MAN ability, Peter Pan would regain evasive once Captain Hook leaves play.[3]
