Anthony Paul "Tony" Bancroft is a character designer and veteran Disney animator from California. Bancroft is best known for directing the film Mulan and animation for the Disney Renaissance era of Walt Disney Animation Studios. He is the twin brother of Tom Bancroft, who also worked in Disney animation.

- Bancroft was the main animator for Cogsworth in Beauty and the Beast and Kronk in The Emperor's New Groove, both of whom are depicted in the cards illustrated by Bancroft, Cogsworth - Climbing Clock and Kronk - Laid Back.
