Maui's Fish Hook Rulings
When a card says that you get to play it "for free", the free part only refers to the ink cost. All other costs such as exerting must be paid.
- Even if you have a Maui in play, you would still need to exert for Maui's Fish Hook's SHAPESHIFT ability.[1][2]
