Mama Odie - Voice of Wisdom Rulings
Moving damage counters counts as removing damage counters from the initial card, then placing that many damage counters on to the chosen card.[1] Therefore you must have both characters in play to be able to move the damage counters. If your opponent does not have a character in play, there are no characters to move the damage counters on your damaged character to, so nothing will happen.[2]
Moving damage counters does not count as being dealt damage. Therefore Mama Odie - Voice of Wisdom's LISTEN TO YOUR MAMA NOW ability would not trigger Beast - Selfless Protector. It will however trigger Grand Pabbie - Oldest and Wisest's ANCIENT INSIGHT ability to gain 2 lore and Rapunzel - Gifted Artist's LET YOUR POWERS SHINE ability to draw a card.[3]
