Bounce Rulings
You need at least 1 Character in play to be able to use Bounce card ability, while a 2nd Character is not required. However, if there is a 2nd Character in play, you must choose that Character.[1]
Cards can be played with no effect. Even if there are no characters on the board, you can play Bounce and Dragon Fire.[2] Similarly, even if the opponent has only 1 card or 0 cards in hand, you can still play You Have Forgotten Me. [3]
Even though you can play a card that has no target which results in the card having no effect, target choosing is still mandatory. If there is a valid target for the card when it is played, that target must be chosen.
- If only you have a character on the board and you play Dragon Fire, you must select one of your own characters to Banish with Dragon Fire.[4]
