- If you have other characters in play besides Lyle Tiberius Rourke - Cunning Mercenary and your opponent plays Be Prepared, all the characters are banished but the effects stating "other characters is banished" will still be noted and be able to trigger. After all the characters enter the discard pile, you will be able to resolve them.
E.g. If you have 3 characters in play including Lyle Tiberius Rourke - Cunning Mercenary and your opponent plays Be Prepared, after all your characters enter the discard pile, Lyle Tiberius Rourke - Cunning Mercenary's THANK YOU FOR VOLUNTEERING ability will resolve and your opponent will lose 2 lore.[1]
